A voir dire hearing was held Wednesday morning at Dennis Oland’s second-degree murder trial.
It was regarding Richard Oland’s missing cellphone and the testimony of Rogers Communications investigator Claudio Cusin.
Justice Terrence Morrison asked the Crown and defence to provide him with written briefs regarding the evidence.
Voir dire has ended and Claudio Cusin leaves the stand. Justice Morrison wants written briefs on what the crown and defence are looking for in regards to the roaming error issue. Court takes another break.

The defence will submit its brief by end-of-day Friday and the Crown for end-of-day Monday.
Morrison will then hear arguments next Thursday.
Court will not sit next week until Thursday morning.
