Solidarity is the rallying cry among picketers gathering today in support of striking workers at MBS Radio in Saint John….the 12-hour rally comes after yesterday’s negotations in Halifax, which representatives say have left them feeling more hopeful.
Canadian Media Guild Reprensentative Glenn Gray tells CHSJ News the initial conciliation process wasn’t sucessful, but they remain optimistic for the next negotiations within the near future.
Gray didn’t say when the workers at the 3 Saint John stations will be going back to the table. The strikers also pointing out the 2 lowest-paid bargaining members also happen to be women.
