Two 17 year old high school students, whose parents were away on vacation, will be sentenced later this month for breaking into a home on John Street in Rothesay.
The two pleaded guilty at their initial court appearance. They were arrested after police stopped an S-U-V that was seen leaving the area while they were investigating the breakin.
Nothing was taken because the alarm sounded and the two took off.
Rothesay Regional Police have another breakin on their hands. This one occurred on Melanie Drive with four flat screen TVs, cash, jewellry and electronics reported stolen.
A vehicle was later found abandoned by the RCMP in Hampton and police are investigating to see whether there’s a connection.
