Hidden in trails all around the province are containers just waiting to be discovered by outdoor adventurers.
It’s all part of an activity called geocaching and the NB Trails Council has launched a program in celebration of two decades in operation. It’s been referred to as a literal province-wide treasure hunt.
The group’s Kevin Maillet says 200 limited edition geocoins were minted just for this program.
There are geocaches, which are the hidden containers you’re aiming to find, all across the province including Saint John, St. Andrews, Fredericton, Bathurst and many other areas.
