There are almost 44 hundred homes and businesses without electricity in the province, according to NB Power with 36 hundred of those in Fredericton.
There are 314 in the St. Stephen area and 112 in the Rothesay district, including Grand Bay-Westfield, Quispamsis, Carter’s Point, Long Reach and Clifton Royal with isolated outages elsewhere.
Fredericton, meantime, has been described as looking like a war zone after losing at least 4 thousand trees in the storm over a week ago.
