You’d think that getting away on a tropical cruise or weekend holiday might result in more Canadian couples getting busy, but that’s not the case according to a recent study commissioned by Best Buy.
The study found only seven-percent of Canadian parents say they conceived on vacation and one-percent conceived on their honeymoon. An overwhelming 82-percent said they conceived at home. Interestingly, 59-percent of Canadian parents say they plan ahead when starting a family. 34-percent reported their most recent child was a pleasant surprise.
36-percent of English speaking Canadians compared with 26-percent of French speakers said their child was a surprise.
