The number of power outages across the province now affecting more than 106 thousand homes and businesses as the winds became more intense this afternoon.
The majority of those are in the Fredericton area with over 52 thousand Woodstock, Bouchtouche, Miramichi, and St. Stephen also being hard hit. In St. Stephen, more than 11 thousand homes and businesses are without electricity, more than 51 hundred in the Rothesay area and over 36 hundred in the Sussex area.
