The summer months can be a challenging time for diabetes when life is more relaxed making it harder to stay on task.
Certified Diabetes Instructor Rob Roscoe says during the winter months its more of the same thing day in and day so they can predict when they will have meals and what they will be up to.
He tells us people who have diabetes make on average about 200 decisions a day based on blood sugar management and thinking about what they will eat and when to take their meds.
Roscoe says diabetics often feel like they take two steps forward and one step back juggling sugar control, diet and medications.
