He’s been part of the group off and on for 33 years so many might say Brad Woodside is a natural as the new President of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities.
Woodside tells CHSJ News he attended his very first FCM meeting back in 1981.
He says the Atlantic caucus told him they needed a representative and it was his turn to be president.
Woodside calls it an exciting challege for him to preside over an organization that represents 95 per cent of the population of Canada.
