With the Tories releasing their pre-election economic outlook predicting an anaemic 1.2% growth rate this year, Liberal leader Brian Gallant is firing back at the Alward Government.
Gallant tells us the report is essentially an attempt to “legislate integrity” since government broke its major campaign promises to balance the books within 4 years without cutting services.
Gallant further says the Alward government is using taxpayer money on partisan campaign ads–but, in his view, that won’t be enough to sway New Brunswickers to re-elect the Tories given their track record on jobs.
