It’s a very big week for Port Saint John with Port Days underway.
Port CEO Jim Quinn tells CHSJ News they are excited about the Export Awards dinner tonight at the Marco Polo Cruise Ship Terminal.
Quinn says the Port is a provincial asset that plays an important role in getting our products out to the global marketplace.
He says if they can provide services that get their products to more people then maybe it can lead to employers needing to hire another worker or two
in different areas of the province.
Today, some of the Port Days delegates will be taking part in a golf tournament and river cruise.
A lunch reception is coming up tomorrow featuring Francois Poirier of Trans Canada on the Energy East Pipeline.
