The First Nations are hoping for a far better relationship developing with the new federal government under Prime Minister Trudeau. He has vowed to renew the relationship starting with implementing the recommendations from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Trudeau claims there is no other relationship that more important to him.
J-P Gladu is President and C-E-O of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business sounds optimistic better days lie ahead but warns there’s a long way to go. Gladu says barriers have to be brought down and stereotypes disspelled, many of whcuh come about from a lack of knowledge.
