Whether the provincial government will be sued or not remains to be seen but Finance Minister Roger Melanson says a 315 thousand dollar contract that had been given to a Quebec company to manufacture blades for snowplows has been cancelled.
The contract has now been awarded to Craig Manufacturing of Hartland whose bid was 16 hundred dollars higher than what was submitted by the Quebec company.
The government had come under criticism for not giving the contract to the Hartland company when the difference in the bids was so low.
