The people who want Saint John to host the East Coast Music Awards in April of 2017 will be making their pitch to Common Council tonight.
The city is being asked to contribute 125 thousand dollars with an estimated economic impact of 3.1 million dollars over the five days of the event. 2.1 million of that is expected to come from people travelling to the city from elsewhere.
