The big concern when it comes to transportation on the west side is not Simms Corner according to Common Councillor Bill Farren.
What he hears about most is heavy truck traffic going down Manawagonish Road which should not be happening. The designated truck route is the throughway but Farren says Manawagonish Road is used by truckers to make their way to the pulp mill and brewery.
He has also heard from a few people who want to see the bike lanes extended and made better.
