It’s described as a fluid situation…….The closure of Lorne School is raising questions about whether there will be continued access to the gym by the young people at the Nick Nicolle Community Centre on Victoria Street.
Ken Craft, who chairs the Parent School Support Committee at Lorne, tells CHSJ News the neighbourhood is going to suffer in more ways than one.
Craft says it was his understanding that the District Education Council was going to take all steps necessary to ensure the gym was made available.
According to One Change, the gym at Lorne School is vital to its programming.
