A food truck from Moncton is going to be making a stop in Saint John tomorrow from 11 in the morning until 8 at night which will be offering traditional German food.
It’s Checkpoint Germany which got a call from a woman who works at the Air Canada call centre in Millidgeville who said there’s nowhere to go there for lunch even though there’s a lot of people who work in that area.
Chef Mike Uberall concedes traditional restuarants resent their presence but maintains he sees food trucks as being the future of the restaurant business and adds it actually takes a lot of money to run a food truck if you’re going to do it well
