A 46-year-old man from Belledune is facing charges of attempting to murder two children with a court appearance today in Campbellton.
This all began when the RCMP were called to a single vehicle crash in Blackland on November 3rd.
Three people, a man and two children, who are related, were taken to hospital. The children were later transferred to the IWK Hospital in Halifax for treatment. The man remained hospitalised in Campbellton.
The RCMP say they later received information suggesting foul play may have been involved which prompted a major crime investigation.
