Some mid-morning excitement in our backyard. A man came into our offices at 58 King Street and was going through desks when he was confronted by a manager.
He eventually left and was chased up King Street by another worker and the man later pulled a weapon and the employee backed away and the man took off.
We asked Producer Sean Crowley why he went after the man and confronted him.
He says he didn’t feel threatened at that point because he was an older man and about 5 foot 6 so he didn’t feel a physical threat.
A 53 year old man has been arrested and is facing a weapon charge as well as charges for robbery and theft.
No one at Country 94 and The Wave was hurt in this incident.
