According to recent reports Los Angels Lakers star guard Kobe Bryant has told the team next season will be his last with the Lakers. Bryant will make a league-high $25 million dollars in his final contract season– his 20th– with the Lakers.
In MLB
The Toronto Blue Jays play at home against the Seattle Mariners. The Blue Jays record on the season is currently 19 wins and 25 losses. The New York Yankees take on the Texas Rangers and the Boston Red Sox play at home against the Angels.
In the CFL
Michael Sam, the first openly gay player drafted by an NFL team, signed a two-year contract Friday with the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL. He has been a free agent since the Dallas Cowboys released him from their practice squad on Oct. 21.
