A meeting was held earlier today between the President of the Board of Directors, Carl Randell and the Joshua Group’s accountant.
Randell has been told the Joshua Group mailed its tax returns for the years 2013 and 2014 to the Canada Revenue Agency on April 16th which adhered to the guidelines set out by the tax people.
Randell is now awaiting confirmation from the Canada Revenue Agency which revoked the Joshua Group’s charitable status in late July.
As you might imagine, Randell says he has been hearing from people who donated money after the charitable status was removed. He tells CHSJ News once the group’s charitable status has been restored, they will be able to get their tax receipts retroactively.
