With the resignation of the Garcelon Civic Center manager, Natalie Reid, who will take over her duties?
St. Stephen Chief Administrative Officer Derek O’Brien says they will be looking to fill the position as soon as they are able.
He says, first, they are going to review the job description and make sure the criteria is what the Garcelon needs.
O’Brien says they will then be advertising with Town Council for the position. He tells us the reasoning behind Reid’s resignation is just a mutual agreement between her and the Town of St. Stephen.
Until then, he adds, it will be a team effort to cover the manager duties, between Barb Tucker, Parks & Recreation, the new Aquatics and Fitness Coordinator, and O’Brien himself.
