Not much pain in the pocketbook is expected at the gas pumps in New Brunswick this week.
Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with Gasbuddy.com expects little change from the Energy and Utilities Board at midnight.
“Worst case scenario would be one cent per litre but more than likely retailers won’t even pass that on to consumers,” he notes.
On the diesel side, McTeague believes the price will drop by about one cent per litre overnight.
