The People’s Alliance Party has filed a motion with the Court of Appeal to intervene in the case of dual school buses for anglophone and francophone students.
Party leader Kris Austin of the People’s Alliance doesn’t think duality makes financial sense.
Austin says the decision to seek intervention was made after it became clear the provincial government wasn’t going to present arguments on both sides of the question, adding he would be hardpressed to find anyone, french or english, who favours dual school buses.
He`s puzzled why the province is pursuing this so aggressively.
