The RCMP are probing the death of Wayne Rattray as a murder.
Human remains were found near Renous on May 21st and they have been identified as Rattray.
The RCMP’s Major Crime Unit was looking into the disappearance of the 59-year-old man, who was last seen on March 2nd , at his home on Walker Road.
Soon after that date, police and fire crews responded to a fire at the home and it was destroyed by the fire.
His truck was found on March 7, off Highway 109 in Three Brooks, engulfed in flames.
