Major Crime is working to figure out the motive for three separate slashing attacks on the same victim.
Sergeant Lori Magee says one arrest was made in the first attack which happened under the causeway where a man was cut with a sharp object. The 26-year-old man arrested was released on conditions.
Magee says the second incident happened in the alley between Water Street and Prince William Street where three people got out of a vehicle and cut the man’s face. A third incident happened Wednesday night around Crown Street where the same man had received a cut to his face.
The attacks aren’t considered to be random. Magee says the victim and one or more of the suspects know each other.
