It has been five years since 9 shots were fired into the home of City Police officer Chris Messer and still no charges have been laid.
The Saint John Police Association says an investigation by City Police identified the people responsible and the big question is why haven’t they been charged.
Messer’s lawyer Brian Munro describes the drive by shooting as a direct frontal assault on the administration of justice and Messer says his family has lived a nightmare for almost 5 years.
Bob Davidson of the Police Association says it’s unbelievable no one has been charged after a police officer’s home has been shot at and that’s why a public inquiry is needed.
