Vilco Limited receiving a $310 thousand dollar forgivable loan to expand operations in St. Stephen through the provincial government’s Opportunities NB program.
Vilco President Pierre Cote says they have had a lot of success since purchasing Superior Tanks in 2011, adding it’s time to expand and see what else we can do here.
He says, “We have started recruiting, so if you know anybody, let us know. We have jobs here.”
Vilco manufactures fiberglass products such as oil and aquaculture tanks, as well as fiberglass canopy signs for gas stations.
Cote says 80 percent of their production goes to the US market, so that is what makes St. Stephen the perfect location.
