Fundy National Park will celebrate its 65th anniversary of welcoming visitors when it officially opens for the season on Friday, just in time for the long weekend.
Parks Canada officials say visitation to Fundy increased by 15 percent last year with more than a quarter of a million people coming through the gates.
The campgrounds were also popular in 2014 thanks partly to the addition of o-Tentiks, which are a blend of a tent and a cabin.
The park has new programs which encourage Canadians to connect with nature along with traditional activities such as hiking, swimming, boating and mountain biking.
Keep in mind that campground reservations can now be made online, HERE.
