In World Hockey Championship action Canada defeated France this morning by a score of 4-3 securing a spot in the quarter-final. Canada will face off against Switzerland tomorrow.
In NHL Action:
The Montreal Canadiens try to once again avoid elimination when they host the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Bolts lead the best-of-seven-series 3-1.
The NHL’s free agent frenzy has begun with head coach Mike Babcock as the headliner. The Detroit Red Wings have given him permission to talk to other NHL teams about coaching opportunities in a window that is open until May 25.
