A New Brunswick fire crew has returned home from Alberta after battling wildfires and another crew is preparing to head out.
The group of 26 were helping to bring a 50,000 hectare fire under control near Sweeney Creek in northwestern Alberta.
Mother Nature also helped out when the region received 25 centimetres of snow earlier this week.
A new crew of 19 New Brunswick firefighters will be leaving tomorrow Friday.
Natural Resources Minister Denis Landry says New Brunswick will continue to help out in Alberta as long as conditions here allow.
