The brand new mascots for Chocolatetown will soon be revealed.
Chocolatefest Manager Katelyn Rodas says “The Great Chocolate Mousse & Ms. Tiffany Unveiling: Extreme Makeover Edition” will be a great kids event. “So this is going to be a big reveal, unveiling event. Admission is by donation, this is a fundraising event to help cover the costs of the new mascots. Around 11:15am or 11:20am, once everyone gets there, we will do the ‘Big Reveal’.”
Rodas says the unveiling will be a carnival-style event with face painting, kids games, a BBQ, and more. It will be held on Saturday, June 11th, from 11am to 2pm in Choclate Park on Milltown Blvd in St. Stephen.
She adds the new mascots will be the same beloved characters we’ve grown to love for decades, just new and improved. Rodas says the old costumes are 32 years old, and are not safe for the summer students to wear, especially for long periods on hot summer days. She tells us the new mascot costumes will be much more efficient, safe, and modern, with ventilation in the mascot heads, as well as cooling packs inside.
