16 year old wrestler Chris O’Toole from Hampton has been named as a top three finalist by Sport NB in the “male athlete of the year” category. O’Toole, who attends Hampton High, won the 2015 Canadian national championships in both freestyle and Greco Roman categories as well as taking home the bronze medal in the cadet age group at the Pan Am games this past July in Mexico.
In the “Q”, the Moncton Wildcats blanked the Sea Dogs 5-0 with Sebastien Dupre recording his first shutout. Moncton has a 4-0 lead in the Brunswick News Rivalry Cup standings. The Sea Dogs play Cape Breton tonight at the Station starting at 7:30.
