A Saint John man accused of making child pornography by filming family members and neighbours in secret has been sentenced to four years behind bars.
The joint child exploitation investigation by the RCMP and Saint John police started a year ago. The man, who cannot be named because of a ban on any information that could identify the victims, plead guilty to a laundry list of charges including production and possession of child pornography and two counts of voyeurism.
Two of the victims were under the age of 14 and two were adults.
Along with the prison time the man is going to be put on the national Sex Offender Registry for life and will have to give a sample to the national DNA database.
