It has been an emotional few days in Alberta at the Fort McMurray People and Animal Reunion Centre.
The Alberta SPCA says they have reunited a number of animals rescued from Fort McMurray after the wildfires with their owners.
Officials at the shelter say that crews remain in Fort McMurray and are continuing to rescue the remaining animals. Hundreds have been brought into the reunion centre. That includes cats, dogs, reptiles, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits and other small pets.
They hope to reunite more animals with their owners over the next several days.
