More than half a million voter information cards are being put in the mail this week by Elections NB in advance of the May 9th elections.
The more than 570,000 cards will tell New Brunswickers when and where to vote, as well as for which elections they are eligible to vote.
Municipal electoral officer Michael Quinn says voters should bring those cards with them to vote, as this will speed up the process and reduce lineups.
Eligible voters who do not get, or forget to bring their card will have to go to a special team at each station to be checked against or added to the voters list.
