Canadian soldiers will be honoured this Friday night at Harbour Station when the Sea Dogs hold their annual “Support Our Troops” Night against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. Retired Simonds High teacher Art Pottle, a veteran of the Second World War, will take part in the ceremonial puck drop. He has been honoured with the French Legion of Honour for his service in the liberation of France during the Second World War as well as receiving a Congressional Gold Medal from the U.S. Congress.
