A University of New Brunswick political scientist says it became clear in the latter part of the campaign that the Liberals were better at getting their message out than the NDP.
When asked if re-elected New Brunswick Liberal MP Dominic Leblanc will get a key post in the Trudeau cabinet, Assistant professor J.P. Lewis told us “definitely”.
He says we should expect that he will be get a high profile cabinet portfolio possibly justice but something in the inner circle most likely.
Lewis says one of the spoils of a majority win is having a lot of talent to choose from when putting a cabinet together but Trudeau risks disappointing some new MP’s who are not picked.
