Voter information cards for the upcoming local government byelections on Dec. 9 may be delayed in arriving.
Elections New Brunswick said that is due to the disruption in services resulting from the Canada Post strike.
The cards have information for voters on where they need to go in order to cast their ballots.
Chief Electoral Officer Kim Poffenroth is encouraging residents to look up their voting information on their website.
You can also call their toll-free call centre at 1-888-858-VOTE (8683) to find out the information.
Advance voting takes place on Saturday, Nov. 30, with election day on Monday, Dec. 9. Polls are open both days between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
Byelections are taking place in 10 communities, including Beausoleil, Belledune, Champdoré, Doaktown, Fundy-St. Martins, Hautes-Terres, Saint John, Strait Shores, Sunbury-York South and Valley Waters.
The full list of candidates for each community can also be found on Elections New Brunswick’s website.
