A professional services firm plans to create 100 full-time jobs in New Brunswick over the next three years.
MNP will get up to $1.1 million in payroll rebates from Opportunities New Brunswick to do just that.
“Our continued investment in New Brunswick is an enhancement of our digital service offerings and addresses the growing market demand,” said Sean Murphy, partner and national digital solutions leader for MNP Digital.
“We are committed to leveraging our deep industry expertise in collaboration with Opportunities NB, to drive innovation and digital transformation in the region – and to build a digital powerhouse in New Brunswick”
The money will help the firm expand its workforce and enhance its bilingual services through newly created digital delivery centres of excellence in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.
Serving public and private sector clients in Canada and beyond, the centres focus on the areas of digital advisory, artificial intelligence, data and analytics, application development, cybersecurity and privacy, digital platforms, cloud services and managed IT services.
“We are proud to see large Canadian organizations capitalizing on the New Brunswick advantage to expand their operations,” said Greg Turner, the minister responsible for Opportunities NB.
“Our talent, infrastructure, innovation and agility ensure our province’s tech sector continues to grow and drive economic success.”
The expansion is expected to contribute up to $21.4 million in direct provincial GDP by 2026, according to the province.
