Saint John police say a convicted armed robber wanted on a Canada-wide warrant is back in custody.
Ryan Bear was accused of breaching the conditions of his statutory release, according to police.
The 37-year-old man had been residing at a community correctional centre in Saint John.
Police said Bear was located and arrested in Saint John at around 3 p.m. Sunday.
BearĀ is serving a sentence of more than 41 months on several charges, including:
- one count of armed robbery
- one count of break, enter and commit
- one count of theft under $5,000
- one count of uttering threats to cause death/harm
- two counts of failing to appear
- four counts of failing to comply with a probation order
- one count of mischief in relation to other property
Saint John police warned the public not to approach Bear if they saw him.
