Paramedics in New Brunswick are mourning after the passing of one of their own.
Lindsay Christie passed away on Monday at the age of 44, according to her obituary.
Christie began her career with Ambulance New Brunswick in 2011 as a Primary Care Paramedic.
She went on to become one of the first active Advanced Care Paramedics in the province in 2015.
“Lindsay loved to travel and had a great love of music — she took pride in her profession, loved to help others, and made many friends during her time with us,” Ambulance NB said in a statement.
Christie’s obituary described her as someone who lived life to the fullest and never hesitated to tell friends or family the truth.
“As an Advanced Care Paramedic she made a difference in countless lives, whether treating a patient or helping a colleague – she loved her career and was damn good at it!”
A funeral service for Christie will be held in McAdam on Saturday afternoon.
