The Saint John Community Arts Board has selected the city’s summer/fall 2022 artist-in-residence.
Nathasha Pilotte is a visual and fibre artist, published author, and illustrator.
Pilotte will split her time between the City Market and the Interpretation Centre at Rockwood Park and will take inspiration from the park’s natural surroundings to make a large-scale puppet from textiles and objects found within the park.
Residents will have the opportunity to visit Pilotte on site, participate in her creative process, and take part in public events in the fall.
The artist-in-residence is funded by the Saint John Community Arts Board through the City of Saint John. For more information about the program.
