If the vote was left to school children, the Liberals would not have won as many seats.
Schools across the country were involved in the Student Vote Canada initiative, which helps educate students about the election process.
It includes a mock vote.
Under their vote, the students gave the Liberals 117 seats, the NDP 107, and the Conservatives 91 seats.
In southern New Brunswick, the students favoured Liberal Wayne Long in Saint John-Rothesay, Conservative John Williamson in New Brunswick Southwest, and Conservative Rob Moore in Fundy Royal.
