Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for the Fundy coast, including Saint John and Charlotte County, warning of the potential for significant rainfall.
Forecasters say rain is expected to become heavy at times throughout the day and into Thursday evening. There is also a risk of a thundershower starting Thursday afternoon.
They say 40 to 70 millimetres is expected by Friday morning.
Inland areas like the Kennebecasis Valley and Sussex can expect up to 30 millimetres of rain.
