Jake Stackhouse is hoping to represent Saint John’s second ward on Common Council.
On his campaign page, Stackhouse lists his three priorities as growth, livability, and fiscal responsibility.
He says it’s important council encourages developers to choose Saint John by streamlining the construction process.
He mentions North end revitalization can only be achieved by not slapping fees on developers.
Stackhouse also cites fair taxation as something that is standing in the way of retaining residents who instead choose to move to Quispamsis or Rothesay.
Voters head to the polls on May 10.
