Erin Toole is running for a spot on the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Council.
Toole is a lawyer with 20 years of experience as well as community involvement on nonprofit and professional boards.
She is currently the Grand Bay-Westfield representative on the board of the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.
Toole says she’s running as a councillor because she believes that balanced responsible growth is needed in Grand Bay-Westfield.
“I (along with some other local candidates) am organizing a meet the candidate event which will be held in our community in the coming weeks,” She said.
“Full COVID precautions will be taken. I am also planning on attending as many local events as I can leading up to the election, so I can meet residents and introduce myself and my platform. ”
She says her priority is to improve communication and transparency between the municipal government and the residents of the town.
Toole says she wants to explore opportunities for planned growth in residential and commercial areas in the community.
She says she wants to improve quality of life for all residents of Grand Bay-Westfield.
