Two new cases of COVID-19 are being reported in the Atlantic Travel Bubble today.
Prince Edward Island is reporting two new infections today.
Health officials say two men in their 20s and 30s – who are considered essential workers but not in the health care field – have been self-isolating since their arrival on August 24.
New Brunswick has four active cases remaining.
Public Health has identified an international traveller with COVID-19 who may have been infectious on August 22 while on the following flights:
- Air Canada Flight 0992 – from Mexico City to Toronto
- Air Canada Flight 8918 – from Toronto to Moncton
Anyone who was on these flights should self-monitor for symptoms of the virus.
The New Brunswick government has also announced the state of emergency mandatory order was renewed today (September 03) under the authority of the Emergency Measures Act.
Elsewhere, Nova Scotia still has six active cases of COVID-19 while Newfoundland and Labrador is still reporting one case.
