Five people were taken into police custody on Monday afternoon.
The Saint John Police Force says there was a short pursuit on Highway 1 eastbound after a motorist failed to stop for police.
The vehicle was located in the area of Elliot Road with the assistance of the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force.
Police say they are still investigating. There is no word yet on charges or a court date.
