Police Probe Two ‘Suspicious’ Deaths In Rothesay

Police say the deaths of a woman and a young girl in Rothesay are being treated as suspicious.

The Kennebecasis Regional Police Force says 43-year-old Louise Cassie-Laflamme and a seven-year-old child were found dead in an apartment on Sierre Avenue around mid-morning Monday.

Autopsies will be conducted on Tuesday to determine the exact causes of death.

In a Facebook post Tuesday afternoon, the police force said they are not looking for any suspects at this time and there is no threat to public safety.
